Feit Electric Smart Bulbs with xFi Pods - 2.4 GHz needed and I can't split the connection type
I have a dual band modem and, in the past, have used a wifi extender for hard to reach areas in my house. I had several smart devices (IoT devices) connected, but when I connected them the first time, I had to disable my 5 GHz wifi temporarily. They connected fine after I did that.
Now, I have ditched the wifi extender for xFi pods. Connectivity on devices took a while to become better, but now has settled in and is working well. However, I have 4 Feit Electric Smart Light Bulbs that require 2.4 GHz wifi. I can no longer disable 5 GHz wifi (due to the xFi Pods), and cannot connect two of the bulbs. Two of them have connected, but two of them are offline.
I have not seen any other postings or information on xFi pod management with Feit Electric Smart Light Bulbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is there any answer to this issue? I'm having the same problem. All of these wifi bulbs are now useless with the pods... that's extremely frustrating.

FWIW, the bands can't be separated if someone is using the pods as the original poster is.

AFAIK, the pods can't function unless the bands are combined. From their FAQ here;
https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfi-pods-faqs
One WiFi network name and password (i.e., you cannot have a separate WiFi network name and password for your 2.4 and 5 GHz radio bands). Your network still has both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio bands. This allows your Gateway to sort out the best connection at any given time for your devices.
