Extreme jump in data usage
Hello, I got an email that I’ve used 75% of my 1.2T usage. This is impossible since nothing has changed in the devices we use or how we use them. It says I’ve used 993 (!!!!!)gb when I usually use less than 400 which is absolutely insane. I will not be paying extra for unlimited cos I’ve already paid so much for internet that isn’t even reliable. Please fix this since I know for sure this id not something we are doing. No unauthorized devices on our network, nothing being done differently just Xfinity saying we are. 🙃 I feel like I have an issue with Xfinity every other month it’s ridiculous.

Thank you for reaching out @user_aa95d9 . I am sorry you are getting this email if nothing has changed on your end. I know I would be concern as well. At this time data usage is verified by an independent, third-party auditor. The best course of action, in this case, would actually be to report this to our Customer Security Assurance.
