Sometime this summer I lost access at home to my work IP address, so can't access a server or even VPN.. Xfinity appears to be blocking that single IP address. What do I do to correct this.

Try disabling the Xfi Advanced Security feature as a work-around for now and see. It's buggy ! And there is currently no way for an end-user to be able to whitelist anything;
Thank you for the suggestion. It didn't work for me. Still blocked.
Perhaps the output of a traceroute to the domain may reveal where the blockage is occurring.
