Exterior Connection
I am writing to request a technician visit for an exterior equipment issue that is causing a near-total failure of my Xfinity services. The main coaxial line connected to the outside of my house is completely exposed to the elements. There is no gray protective enclosure/NID box present on the wall, leaving the splitters and fittings bare to the rain.Because water has penetrated the lines, my internet and TV are barely functioning. Standard automated modem troubleshooting will not resolve this, as it is a physical hardware defect on the exterior of the property.Since this involves Comcast/Xfinity-owned equipment outside the home, could a representative please help me schedule an exterior maintenance technician to install a weatherproof box and replace the corroded fittings?
