Extending wifi to guest house
We currently have Xfinity Internet. We are building a new guest house about 100 feet away from the main house, but it's not possible to run coaxial cable to it. What's the easiest way to extend our Wifi signal to the new guest house?

One method is to use a high gain Yagi Antenna;

As @EG says. Yagi can work. 100 feet isn't that bad. Throughput might not be great if you were expecting similar speed as your residence. 802.11b (2.4G) works a bit better for distances, but it's not "sporty". The other issue that can happen is when you've got a bunch of errors on your WiFi from retransmits, it degrades performance for everyone. It's a problem with WiFi repeaters too if you get them too far away from the source. More or less noise interference on your WiFi.
They do make dual band outdoor point-to-point bridges. You'll spend more on them too. A pair of powered devices that will create a wireless link. On the guest house side, you'd also need a cheap Ethernet WiFi router too. They work best if you can place them in direct line-of-site with each other. They boast of 2-3Km range usually, but that's not really true. Short distances they work pretty well. Most are power-over-Ethernet, so make sure they are sold with power adapters.
