Existing XFinity Line in New Home?

I will be moving into a new home next week. I have already submtted an order online to have my existing service transferred. My understanding is that the current owner has ATT. I do not know if they've had Comcast before. How can I find out ahead of time if everything is ready for me to simply hook up my existing hardware? With 3 kids e-learning and me working from home, I need to make sure we have internet service on Day 1. If someone needs to come out and set something up, I'd like to know asap so someone can do that the same day we move.

Thanks.

If they have AT&T there’s a pretty good chance it’s not hooked up. All customer service can tell you if the address had service in the past. Ask your realtor to ask the sellers, maybe they’ll let you look for yourself

What would I look for exactly if I can get in? At first I just figured if there was an existing cable outlet in their wall somewhere that I could just plug my current modem in the same one and I'm good. But when I looked at other topics on this board, it seems the wiring/splitter outside would have to be Comcast specific?

I tried to have my realtor get some clarity but all she came back with is that they have AT&T with a Dish. It's an older couple in that home so I doubt they'll be very helpful.
