existing customer, new order

I saw this deal being advertised on slickdeals for 200Mbps at $25/month for two years, so I signed up for it; I entered my address, signed in as an existing customer, confirmed my DOB and SSN, signed up for autopay and finally submitted my order. Could you let me know the status of that order? Thank you.

Thanks for taking the time to send us this information @ae5880. We never want to see an issue with one of your orders, but you're in the right place for help. Before we get too far, did you sign up for this promotion through our website, or through slickdeals website?

@XfinityJoshuaE​ , My first reaction was indeed to click the slickdeals link but I didn't feel comfortable go thru for some reason. So I started a new browser session, opened the Xfinity home page, found the ad and from there gave my information and submitted my order. It still seemed too good to be true, so I saved the Review Order page just before I hit Submit. I would've attached the pdf to my post but it's got my name, e-mail and phone number.

Also, shortly after, I received an e-mail from Xfinity with the subject line "Your Xfinity ID is now linked to another Xfinity Account". So it looks like I have two accounts now, and I would have to deactivate the old one and activate the new one? or would that happen automatically?
