Every time we move service or change modems Our service works for a week then it does not work they always say to many modems in system but

Please advise. We have several properties and also moved a few months ago. all our services experience the same issues every time. the service once moved or after initial instillation works for about a week. Then it stops working. We have a current property that Xfinity assistant diagnosed a bad modem. I purchased a new modem, had it provisioned online with another agent. It worked for exactly 45 minutes and now has the exact same issue as the prior modem. No locked downstream. I have reached the end of my rope with xfinity. Cant get to a person to solve the issues. It is in your system and one in every 20 agents actually knows how to sort it out.  has the skill to fix the problem.

We have 2 accounts plus 5 phones and honestly we are just waiting for FIOS to get rid of xfinity

user_42731i Thank you for stopping in for help with your connection stopping after your move/recent changes.

I will need to pull up your account to investigate this further. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. Click "Sign In" (If necessary). Click the "Direct Messaging" Icon. Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the “To:” line, type "Xfinity Support". As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window. Press Enter to send it. How to: Direct Message Within The Forum.
