Every night Losing Internet Connection at the same exact time

Hi,

I lose internet connection every night at 12:03 AM. This has been happening for the past several months. Exactly at 12:03 AM, my cable model reboots (i think) or the connections gets reset. I suspect Xfinity is sending a reboot signal. Most of the times connection gets restored in 8-10 mins, however once every few weeks, i have to manually restart the modem to restore the connection.

I use TP-LINK Deco XE5300 and Arris S33 Cable Modem.

Its impossible to get to speak a live agent for Xfinity tech support. The automated system sends a signal to reboot my modem and does troubleshooting thats irrelevant.

Is there anyway to avoid this? or postpone this to 4 AM or so? Why does Xfinity have to do this every night?

Has there been a fix for this? Mine resets at 3:07am every day. It messes with our security system...

@user_83wohj

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 5-month-old dead thread is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on someone else's older thread can delay getting help.
