Erratic laptop WIFI speeds but stable phone Wifi. Suggestions please!
I have a 500 mbs internet plan. I have my own router. I am not connected to a VPN. My laptop download speeds drop to as low as 15mbs for minutes at a time. When I check my speeds on my phone on the same wifi network they are consistently in the 250-400 mps range. At other times I consistently see speeds in the 200 mbs range on this same laptop in the same home location. Any idea why my laptop speeds are so unstable?

Hey there, @user_wsy8ff! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums! That is certainly strange that it is only impacting that one device. Have you tested the speeds on that device directly connected to the modem? Are you receiving similar results? There are some pretty great troubleshooting steps here.
