Epson Workforce 545 printer connection trouble

Since installing the XB8 I have been unable to connect my wireless printer - at least not in a way that allows it to function. I've changed the security mode to WPA 2, and according to the admin console, the printer is recognized as a device connected to the network on the 2.4 Ghz band (which is correct), but with a reserved IP address rather than the DCHP that I think it should have. When I try to change it to DCHP, the console pretends that it's saving the changes, and then instantly reverts to the reserved IP again. The status report from the printer itself gives me error code E-9, "a router/ access point channel conflict has been detected." A Google search suggested that I might be able to correct this by setting a channel for the 2.4 Ghz band manually, but - although the option to do that seems to exist on the console- when I actually click on the button to switch from automatic to manual, nothing happens. Everything else in the house that runs on the 2.4 Ghz band is doing fine. I've also tried splitting the bands, ritually shutting off/unplugging everything in various sequences, etc. etc. The printer is also visible from my computer, but it cannot be added, despite my having deleted the previous iteration of the printer and updated the driver software. I'm out of ideas, and feeling pretty frustrated. I'd appreciate any thoughts you may have that could help the situation - thanks.

Thanks @EG!

Good afternoon @user_e9tfiz. Have you reached out to Epson support to see if they have any suggestions?

user_e9tfiz I would have recommend to split the WiFi bands so the printer can connect to the 2.4 GHz band. However, it sounds like you have already tried that. Have to tired using a USB Cable? If the manual WiFi setup fails, you can use a temporary USB connection to push the new WiFi settings from your computer to the printer. You will want to contact Epson Support to get the latest drivers, and software needed.
