Epson printer stopped connecting to home network 20 hours ago
I have been working almost a day trying to reconnect. I get an error message E-6 - MAC address filtering check FAIL. I need to see if my router has restrictions such as MAC address filtering. No idea how to do this. Got a new router from Xfinity in the past month. Prior to this I had to reconnect regularly, but was able to. Now I can’t connect at all. Using an iPad Pro and iPhone with Epson WF-7710 printer. Have restarted router, iPad, and printer multiple times in various order, same error. Any advice is welcome.

I am also experiencing this issue, but with a different Epson printer. I have the Epson Workforce 845. Yesterday, I received a Technicolor XB8 modem. Once I setup the modem, all my devices work with the modem except the printer. Tried setting up wireless printing and received the same error message as the user above ~ Mac address filtering address failed. I contacted Xfinity and was told that the modem is not setup for address filtering. Epson’s site tells you to add your mac address to the filter, but not what to when you get the message and there is no filtering. So how do you fix this issue besides going back to the older modem where the printer works.
