EPON Service Using Customer Owned Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro

I had a tech here recently and removed the Xfinity gateway.  I'm now connected directly from the EPON unit to my Dream Machine Pro.  The ongoing problem is my connection is not stable.  Cn someone please help?  I did notice @XfinityJosephA  was able to help someone recently, but the message thread didn't contain insturctions.
