Eight Sleep Pod vs ARRIS G34

I'm trying to connect Eight Sleep Pod smart home device to my home wifi (ARRIS G34 router) without success. I know that Eight Sleep Pod requires 2.4 GHz connection and  I'm not sure if my router has it, but there might be another issue. My questions:

1. How can I create a separate 2.4.GHz SSID?

2. Any other advice for connecting such device to wifi?
