Download speeds less than 25% of what I'm paying for
When I moved into my current apartment, the internet plans available for me to choose went up to 1200mbps download speed. I selected the 800mbps plan, only to get 180-190mbps. This speed persisted despite trying multiple speed test sites and trying *all* the troubleshooting steps. My computer is hardwired into my personal router and personal modem, both of which are rated for gigabit plus speeds, and the cables are CAT6, rated for up to 10gbps.
I downgraded to a 400mbps plan so that I'd be wasting less money, and the 180-190mbps speeds continued.
I'm a long-time Comcast internet customer so I'm used to never getting what I pay for, but these speeds are horrendous compared to their cost. If the cabling in the buildings at this address are outdated and/or in poor quality to not support modern speeds, then Comcast should not be advertising speeds they are unable to deliver.
I am requesting Comcast to send a technician out as early as possible to repair and/or upgrade the cabling at my address to support the speeds they are selling. I am *not* interested in having an underpaid support rep waste my time with elementary troubleshooting steps.
