Thanks for reaching out to us, if you're using an Xfinity modem the best way to run the speed test to get the most accurate reading is to run that through our awesome Xfinity app, From the overview screen go to Wi-Fi,  test whole home network connection as that will test the speeds coming into the modem.

If you're using your own personal modem, you'll want to do a hard wired Ethernet connection directly to the modem and to a PC that has a 2 gigabyte card. That will give you the speed test reading based off the device’s capabilities
