DoS Fraggle attack from Comcast IP
I have a MB8611 modem and a NetGear MR60 Wireless router. My router logs have several entries likme this:
DoS attack: Fraggle Attack] from source 96.120.5.125,port 67 Thursday, Jan 26,2023 12:14:23
That IP address is registered to Comcast. About 1 to 3 times a day, my Internet is completely lost for 1 to 3 minutes, then comes back. Framing that loss is always one of these fraggle attacks.
So, what do I have to do to get Comcast to look into this? I called customer service (a true nightmare). They eventually sent a technician out who had no idea what a "denial of Service attack" is but kept trying to upsell me on leasing Comcast's modem and Wi-Fi.
I have comcast's 1.2 gbps download with unlimited data, and these attacks started right after they upgraded my Internet service.
My primary goal is to get these attacks that cause my Internet to go down, to stop.

Report it here: https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse
They might do something about it. Copy the logs. Lots of compromised stuff on Xfinity's network.
*could also be you rebooted, your line is coming up, and your gateway says fraggle from the UDP traffic (maybe a frag or runt), but that's really a dhcp server upstream from you. I'm not going to probe it for you to find out what it really is. They'll tell you.
