does xfinity still support personal computers?

  • every new page requires re-login
  • many links yield 400 error -- Request Header Or Cookie Too Large
  • other links direct one to download one of the mobile apps
  • instructions don't match reality
    • trying to find my equipment list says to log into account and it takes you to a DEVICES page
    • no it doesn't

this is astonishingly bad.  it's almost as if it's intentional

Yes, ⁠Xfinity still supports desktop personal computers for managing your account, viewing equipment, and using email. The 400 Error ("Request Header Or Cookie Too Large"): This happens when your browser's stored data for Xfinity has grown too big or corrupted. You can fix this by clearing your cookies and cache for "All time" in your browser's privacy settings, or by simply trying to log in using a Private/Incognito window. Re-Login Loop: This is usually tied to the same cookie corruption. Clearing your browsing data or using an Incognito window breaks the cycle.
