                                Thanks for reaching out to us, If you're already in our next generation speed area where you're getting at least 100Mbps of upload, then that notification does mean you're moving to the symmetrical speeds.

The best way to check to see if your area has been upgraded to the symmetrical speeds is just to go to the Xfinity broadband label and put in your address. https://www.xfinity.com/broadband-labels

Once all the work's been completed, the website will list the options for symmetrical speeds and then you could just log into your account and select a new plan or reach out to us on one of our many platforms.

ok I do have 1gig/100 is there a typical time after they finish the work to when I’ll be able to order it xfinity has been working on for the last week now.
