Does the xFi gateway have USB ports?

I have a coupe devices connected to my current Wifi modem and wondering if the Xfi gateway has usb ports.

The latest models do not.

Do you happen ro know what kind of adapter would work to connect a USB external drive to the latest gateway? A simple ethernet to USB adapter does not work. Thanks!

I'm not a Comcast employee but I think you're trying to accomplish a "NAS" type situation, I don't think you can "adapt" that to a Gateway, I too had a router with USB capability running a "Samba" server, since going to XB7, I will have to try something else, perhaps map a "network drive" and keep it on a PC ? Something like that. Hope this helps.

the problem is I only have a laptop so keeping it connected is another step. Before it simply plugged into my old Time Capsule (in bridge mode) which was connected to the Comcast gateway. Now for some reason the external is no longer recognized doing that. Not earth shattering but a step backward. I wonder if I got a hub with an ethernet connection if that could be connected to the gateway and recognize the external drive?
