Does the coaxial cable affect internet speed?
I've been using the same coaxial cable for a couple years because it runs through my wall. I just got a new modem today and it came with a coaxial cable. Am I required to use the new one to maximize speed potential or can I continue to use the old one?

No need to change cables as long as the original one is in good condition. They just supply a cable since not everyone is replacing an existing modem.
