Does my router have a WAN port?

If the device is a Comcast/Xfinity rental modem+wifi router+eMTA gateway, then no, it doesn't have a WAN Ethernet port. If the device is a retail router, then it probably does. What is the model number of the device?

Good morning user_s7kk62. Our xFi Gateway (modem/router combo) does not have an Ethernet WAN port. The reason for that is it receives the internet signal directly via a coax cable from the wall, all of its standard Ethernet ports function as LAN (Local Area Network) ports to connect your wired devices.

I just purchased the Google WiFi Nest Pro and during the set up, it asks me to plug my ethernet cable from the Nest into the WAN port on my modem.  This posting says that there really isn't a WAN port.  What am I missing here?

@user_808dfn When setting up your Google Wi-Fi nest pro look for standard rectangular ports usually labeled LAN, Ethernet. Plug the cable into one of these. It should work the same way.
