Does anyone know why connection status on a comcast cable modem admin page is broken?

Today I was attempting to set up a new cable modem at our house and get the following error for connection_status.jst :

Does anyone's connection status page work, or has this always been broken?

Hello, @devenator. I am sorry to hear that you are getting an error why you are trying to set up your new modem. I would love to assist you and get you a resolution. Please send me a direct message with your first and last name, along with your complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.   

 

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:  

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary 

 • Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon (upper right corner of this page) 

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 

 • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list 

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 

 • Press Enter to send your message

@devenator  Which model modem do you have?  Maybe someone with same model can check their admin connection status page.

There has been a firmware update in some areas. It disabled the setting pages in the gateway device itself. They now want you to use the Xfinity mobile app or the Xfinity website to access the gateway's settings;
