Does anyone else feel scammed?

I had Xfinity internet for around 4 years. My Internet service went down occasionally but I was I was able to reset and fix it all by myself or with the help of Xfinity technical support.

Then Around 6 months ago. My internet went down and I was not able to fix it with technical support. I was told I had to wait a few days for a technician to be available to come out and fix it.

Service was good for almost two months then it happened again. Again I had to wait. Then It happened again. The last time I was charged a technician fee of $100. I was never informed of this fee. I was told if I upgraded my equipment to newer faster service I would no longer have the service problem.

Unfortunately that was not the case. My internet service went down again. I was told I had to pay a fee for a technician to come out again.
At this point I realized I was stuck in a vicious cycle of paying double for internet service that was unreliable.
I had to cancel service since I was paying for internet that didn’t work. Now I am being charged an early termination fee.
I feel scammed. I was trapped. By this point I had spend countless hours on chats and phone calls  with Xfinity customer service. Even today, I’m transferred and and put on hood then hung up on.  This is extremely frustrating. I really liked my service when it worked. I referred a lot of friends and family. All I am being told now is. “ we’re gonna have to follow what the contract says.” I only was under the new contract 1 month then canceled because my service did not work and I was paying for a technician monthly. This is unfair and unacceptable. My new internet service technician told me the Xfinity technicians were just putting a band aid on my Xfinity internet. Not fixing it properly. A total scam.
