Does anybody else constantly get these little micro-disconnects every hour or so?

About every 30-60 mins, I get disconnected without fail as if the router turned off. I have had a technician out here, and nothing has been done (other than them attempting to charge me $100 for an installation even though nothing was installed. Thankfully that was removed after fighting it.) Me and my roommates are big online gamers and even a small disconnect of 2-5 seconds completely boots us from games. From other forums and sites, this seems to be a huge issue with no fix other than an Xfinity rep being like "message here so people don't know our internet is trash" type of responses. I cant wait for a company like Surf or literally any other fiber optic internet to be in my area so I can switch and be done with this company.

Good morning AidenHusky! I'm sorry to read of the ongoing internet trouble that you and your roommates are having. Have a stable connection is vital especially with online gaming. I would love to try to figure this out for us.

Do you lease a Xfinity gateway? Do you have any wifi extender or xfi pods? When you experience the connection drops are your devices hardwired to the modem / gateway or on a wireless connection? Do all devices drop the internet connection or is it isolated to the devices that are on the gaming platform?
