DNS issues with ddns.net

Anyone else having issues with reaching their dynamic address? I can reach it when I'm not on my home network but when connected with any device I am unable to reach my dynamic address (connection timeout). My DNS servers are 75.75.75.75 and 75.75.76.76

Could you please clarify your issue a bit more and with more details of exactly what the problem is / what you are trying to do ?

@EG I have a file server (Nextcloud) that I am trying to access, everything works when I am not on my wifi (network) but when I connect or use a wired device on my network I am unable to access it (error time out). I will provide the address if needed.

Ok so are you saying is that you are trying to access that server on your internal LAN from a device that is also on your internal LAN using your / WAN  / public / external IP address ?

Yes, everything was working just fine until a few days ago. Not sure if I would just have to call and talk to support or what else to do because it seems like a DNS issue when connected internally.

O/k. Access to the WAN / public IP or the hostname from inside your LAN is known as NAT loopback or (hairpinning), and AFAIK, that function is disabled on the Comcast gateway devices. Perhaps it was enabled, and a recent firmware update from them disabled it.

Hmm well then this is not going to work, if they would allow changing DNS servers it would just work. I looked at the logs in the gateway and found nothing about an update from the last 90 days (maybe they wouldn't be there). Thanks for the help but I suppose I will have to call support and see what they say..
