DISH and Xfinity coexistence issues.

Hello, I currently have Dish TV and trying to install Xfinity internet. Connecting the modem/router to the cable doesn't work. Xfinity doesn't see the router. The cable works OK with Dish. Is there a way to have both? Thanks!
