Disabling 5G
Hi,
I see I can split the 2.5 and 5, but I'd like to disable 5G completely on my wifi router. I have a DPC3941T Cisco gateway. Thanks

Go to http://10.0.0.1
Default user ID is admin password is password
In the menu on the left select Connection/Wi-Fi
Select edit on the 5GHz network
Top of the page select Disable there, then scroll down the page and save settings
Certainly works on the XB6 and should on that XB3 device.

Why would you want to disable the 5GHz band? If you want devices to only connect to one band or the other, you can give them different names.
