Difficulty setting up WiFi extender

Hi everyone, I bought a WiFi extender off of amazon (with good reviews from wire cutter so it’s legit!) and I’m having difficulty setting it up with my xfi. One of the troubleshooting items is to disable wireless access control temporarily and I’m having some major trouble! Would appreciate any tips.
