Devices Not Connecting to Home Network
We upgraded three phones recently and none of them will reconnect to the home network automatically even though they are set to do so. We keep getting "authentication" errors on the phones. The only work around we've found is to reset the router each an every time someone returns home. This is not a good solution when trying to work and do school from home. Service provider T-Mobile/Sprint says the issue has to do with MAC addresses and registering them with our home network. What does this mean and how do I do that?????

Not sure what SSID or network security key are. On the phones we have located our network, entered the correct password and turned on the setting to automatically connect to the network. (just like I've done many times at a friend's house.) On a rare occasion we get lucky and one of the phones will connected to the home network. Most of the time the phones do not connect automatically. We try to manually connect by turning the Wi-fi connection setting on the phone on and off several times. That rarely works. Only thing that seems to work is to reset the gateway.

Are you associating them with your home network's current WiFi broadcast name (SSID) and your WiFi network's current password / network security key ?

Hi, ReeReeLynn. Sorry to hear about the complications you're running into. We want to help. What type of devices are these, make/model?
