devices lose wifi connection

All is well for a while.  But usually at least once a day my iDevices and Nest devices will lose connectivity with my new Motorola MT8733.  If I reboot the

router they all come back very quickly.  I've tried "auto" channel setup as we manually picking bandwidth and channels and one does not

seem better than the other.  Given that it all works to begin with its hard to see that its a location or interference issue but some chnage

the Moto is making over time.  Its really annoying.   Moto support replaced the unit just in case it was bad but that changed nothing.

Also on both the original and replaced router I can not access the admin port on 192.168.0.1  .  It accepts the uwer/pwd but then just displays

a Moto logo with no content.  (that's over wifi on a mac, I have not yet tired directly connecting to an ethernet port).

Another support issue:  how can I change the email on my profile?   Its grayed out and not editable when I go to edit my profile.

As a test, does a computer / device that is hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?

@EG   Internet access via Xfinity does NOT go away.  Its only wifi that stops to iDevcies and Nest devices.

My wifi connected mac and iPhone have never lost connectivity nor have the ethernet connected devices.

So it is not an "Xfinity issue" as such, but the MT8733 is an officially supported router.

I suspect I will end up going back to an airport extreme base station and a separate modem since that combination

never had these issues.  Though most folks using the MT8733 do not seem to have this problem.   I have had a long

conversation with Moto Support (Minim) and they even replaced the device just in case, but no resolution has so far

been found.  Its really annoying.
