Devices get disconnected and make me re-enter password several times a day

Everything was fine for months but now all my devices keep randomly disconnecting from the Wi-Fi without any warning or reason. When I go to re-connect them I have to enter the password like it doesn’t remember the Wi-Fi password anymore. It happens on my MacBook, pc, iPhone, iPad, smart thermometer, security camera, Roku tv, everything. I’ve reset the router, and tried resetting network settings on most of my device. I’m about ready to turn off the Wi-Fi on the Xfinity modem/router and plug in a real router with external antennas. It seems like there must have been an update to the Xfinity router/modem and I’m just wondering if this is a known issue they’re working on. Of course I can’t find a way to talk to a real person at Xfinity. To top it off I can’t even sign in to this site without getting a page not found error. I can't even scroll up and down this page. Time to switch to fios I think.
