Devices constantly being dropped from WiFi connection
Could use some help here - we have an Xbox and two fire sticks that keep getting dropped fromt the Wifi. The router is on the second floor, near the center of the house. One of the fire sticks is on the 2nd floor in a room right next to the router. The Xbox and the other fire stick are both downstairs in the living room and just under the router.
The last few weeks have been frustrating - the devices keep losing connection requiring multiple reboots and sometimes I have to go in and tell it to forget the network.
So far, I've tried rebooting the router, reset the router to factor default settings, reboot/reset the devices to factory defaults and they all still lose connection.
I'm at a loss here...any help would be appreciated.

Forgot to mention - using a WiFi analyzer it appears that channel 60 is dead on the 5Ghz band and channel 1 is dead on the 1Ghz band.
I guess those channels with the red start in the wifi analyzer app may be the ones all the devices are currently using...
I briefly switched to manual channel and wifi speed shot up quite a bit. Not sure if there are downsides to using on specific channel....

What’s also odd is that it appears we have a good WiFi signal but yet virtually no speed.

I think we are suffering from some interference somewhere. I have noticed my devices picking up other WiFi signals but I don't know if two WiFi signals operating on the same channel will interfere with each other or not.
I have switched ours to using specific channels rather than dynamically jumping between them. The devices can still use the 2.4 or 5 bands, but mine are now running on specific channels within the bands. Seems to be working ok so far.
Check out this article for more information.
