Device Pausing Rarely Works for Us

We were very excited about the ability to control home devices using the @pause feature for things like bedtime, school, etc. Unfortunately, this has worked sporadically at best. Has anyone found a solution? We have one of the high/highest speed plans and use equipment supplied by xfinity.
