“Device is paused” but on the app it says it’s not (xfinity)

Why? I’m doing work and this nonsense does this to me. I keep trying to connect to my WiFi on my laptop and it keeps saying “device is paused, please download the xfinity xfi app” I have the app and it’s saying it not paused. What do I do? I’ve tried everything calling, restarting, and no help! I might have to cancel xfinity and get a new WiFi service this is nonsense.

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
