Deming NM Outage

Seems like our internet service in Deming has been going down every other day recently. Now this morning its down again for over an hour. Whats going on in Deming thast you can't keep the network active?

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

@user_126ffe Let's take a look at your account to see if we can get some more information on your service interruption since you have been dealing with this issue for some time and we understand exactly how important your services are to you. Can you send me a direct message with your full name and service address, please?

To send a direct message [private message]:
 •    Click "Sign In" if necessary
 •    Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
 •    Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 •    The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
 •    - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
 •    - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
 •    Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
   Press Enter to send it

Hello @jrpainter I really appreciate you reaching out to us. We can most definitely look into any service interruption that may be occurring. You may get updates at https://www.xfinity.com/support/status/ & through the Xfinity App as well. Are your services currently being impacted in the home at this time?

@XfinityDaisy​ there are no updates. this is day 5 of the outage. the last few days there were fake updates that kept saying it would be resolved in an hour or 2. guess i should be thankful the fake updates have stopped. i’d like to know where the headend for deming is located so i could take a look to see if anyone is working on it at all.

Mine out for 3 days now as well.  No answers.  Just promises of getting issue resolved.  No live person to talk to.

Same here. I guess we don’t really count, a-way down here on the southern border. Funny thing is, I drove over to Walmart today (5/12/23) and their internet is working fine! I’ve been using my phone data to do work stuff but this is getting ridiculous. C’mon Comcast/Xfinity! Fix our internet!!

I wrote this original question 2 weeks ago and the outages have gotten worse. We're now into day 5 of a continuous outage city wide and no one from Xfinity bothers to explain why.  How do we all apply for a credit on our next bill for your failure to provide the service we're paying for?
