Dead zone issues and constant lag

Hey so I’ve bought the gigabit plan and I have been experiencing lag or loss of connection in certain rooms even though the modem is on the same floor and is working fine in the room it’s in and all other rooms than the 2 that are having issues. Is this some sort of issue with it not being centralized downstairs or is it a problem with the rooms being a dead zone?
