Data Usage

It's there a way to get my data usage from the last couple of months. I have tried numerous to check via app only to get a troubleshoot message ever single time. I tried asking the Xfinity assistant only to go in loops and it telling me it needed to collect some stuff and never answering my prompt.

Log in to https://customer.xfinity.com/#/devices#usage and click "Show Table Data". That should show usage for the past year.

Howdy user_ai7jm0 👋 As a gamer with a busy home, I definitely understand how important monitoring your data usage is, and you've come to the right place for help! While you're not able to see your data usage broken down by device, your total data usage history can be viewed in the Xfinity app by following these steps:

  1. Open the app and tap the Account tab in the bottom right corner.
  2. Tap Data usage under the Your plan section.
  3. You’ll see your 3 Month Usage Trend.

If you have an xFi Gateway, you can also view data usage in the Xfinity app by selecting WiFi > View WiFi equipment > Advanced settings > Data Usage.

This doesn't help as those options don't exist on my app.

Under Your plan there only shows Internet and mobile facts (which does not show me my usage) and Manage my plan. Which also neglected to show it.

Under the Wi-Fi advance settings, there list: DMZ, DNS Server, LAN & WAN, Port Forwarding, Wi-Fi Bands, and Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspot network. No option for data usage.

user_ai7jm0, thanks for circling back. If you don't see the usage meter, it can also be based on your profile. Are you currently signed in as a Primary or Manager?
