Daily Data Usage

Is there a way to see daily data usage and not just monthly?

@mggsmith Hey there! Thanks for the post. We don't have a daily tracker, but what we would suggest is to check on it daily to see the differences over time.

Without logging in everyday to check, how can you do that?

Can I use 'wget' or 'curl' to retrieve the data?

Can I have the usage data emailed to me daily?

What can be done to get the data everyday without needing to log in via a web brower?

yes, please add a daily view to make it easier for customers to identify which day that data consumption issues started. I was looking for this daily view too to try and figure out a spike in usage for the month that is 5 times greater than prior months.

Need more detail on data usage!!!  We have 2 lines on a shared 1GB account and never go over that amount (since we're on wifi 99.99% of the time).  Today I did a grocery run, and listened to a couple podcasts along the way.  Suddenly I get home to a warning that I'm at 150% of my allotted data!  This month is at 1.48GB for me, and 0.06GB for my wife.  [Edited: "Language"]  This makes no sense but there's no way that I can find, for me to get any detail on where exactly this sudden data consumption came from!

I had to call to get daily data.  I actually wanted to see data by device but they couldn't do that.  All they could give me was data per day but only via a phone call to support.  There's no way to get that data from your online account.

It seems unfair the the consumer when we are charged to data over-usage but there is no tools in place to help us manage the usage.  The monthly reports does not provide enough granularity..

@user_5038f8 Exactly, and that's what I told Xfinity on several occasions when I've called.  I told them they send me an email or text telling me I'm about to go over and will be charged but that info does me no good because I have no way to figure out where the data is going.
