Creating a Second Connection with MoCa

Good afternoon,

I have a problem: My modem from Xfinity and my WiFi is upstairs, sharing the signal throughout the house, but my working station is downstairs. I rely heavily on good download and upload speeds as well as really stable signal, which neither the WiFi, nor the repeater from NetGear does not provide.

What I stumbled up in the internet on was a  device called "MoCa", basically what it should do is save me money, by not opening a second account and installing a new modem from Xfinity, but running a cable upstair through MoCa, into Coax and running out of Coax in MoCa and into my computer through ethernet cable. 

Could you tell me if something like that will work and what will I need to do in order for it to work?
