Constant Need to reset router. At least once a day at varying times.

My X-fi Router goes out at least once a day. It was installed just barely over a month when this started happening(has been going on for a week now). My PC is connected through an ethernet cable, so I am sure it is the router itself. How do I solve this problem?

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please copy all of the text in its entirety of the *Downstream Power Levels*, the *SNR's* (Signal to Noise Ratios), and the *Upstream Power Level* numbers and paste them into your next post.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem / gateway device ?

@user_0e47d6 Thank you for reaching out here on our Xfinity Forums! I'm truly sorry to hear that you've been experiencing connection issues. I understand that you are connecting directly to your Xfinity modem via an Ethernet cable. I'd like to run through a few troubleshooting steps to make sure that we are covering the basics.

1. When you lose connection does the light on top of the modem remain white? If not can you tell me what color it is at the time you lose connection and if it is flashing?

2. Have you already checked that the coaxial lines are secure at both modem and the wall plate?

3. Have you performed troubleshooting within the Xfinity My Account app to send a provisioning and reset signal to your modem?

4. Are there any unnecessary splitters between the modem and the wall plate?

5. Have you tried swapping out the Ethernet cable for a new one? Do you have any devices that connect via the Wi-Fi that also lose connection at the same time?
