Constant internet dropouts, multiple tech visits
I have been a customer for over a year now, and i have never had a worse provider.
you call and they blame it on the modem.
Thing is, this is my 3rd xb8 modem, so they cant blame it on that anymore.
Every time i tell the tech, or support, that my upstream channels and downstream channels disappear, unbond, become not locked, power levels fluxuate constantly, they act like they dont know what i mean.
I am going crazy trouble shooting this myself, to the point the regional manager here gave me his number and was watching my modem for a month and he saw nothing except "weird signals"
its not ddos or anything.
The internet constantly disconnects, and when it does, my power levels drop, my channels become not locked.

What is your DHCP lease time? I have had the same problems for a few months and looked and my ip4 lases time is around 2 hrs. so every two hrs. I lose connection.

@Knees
FWIW. IP lease times can not cause power level fluctuations and the unbonding of channels. This sounds like a line / connection quality problem. There are a fair number of uncorrected bit errors. There may be some spurious noise ingressing the line(s) somewhere. I would consider getting a tech visit to investigate this. Good luck !

Not sure what you mean by "not secure". The UI pages are on the LAN, which has a private, non-internet routable IP address. How is security a factor anyway ?
And seeing intermittent channels may be caused by the unbonding of channels due to a signal quality problem as stated.

In all fairness, there may be a new firmware glitch with the XB8 that is causing channels not to appear intermittently. You do have some weak downstream channels there.
