Consistently drop MS Teams meetings from laptop or smartphone

Within the last two months, beginning late December 2023, when I participate in MS Teams meetings using my Xfinity home internet/wifi my Teams sessions will eventually freeze and drop. This happens on two different laptops and my smartphone. I've had to resort to rejoining those meeting on my smartphone with going through my Xfinity wifi. In those cases, my Teams sessions continue without problem. I've had virtual meetings with other apps and have never had a problem. Only with MS Teams.

During these moments I am the only one home. There is no bandwidth issue with household items taxing the wifi. No streaming, no gaming, no video watching. Just me trying to use Teams.

I've run the speed test which always gives me above my 800 speed on my plan. But that does not seem accurate as in these same moments I cannot load simple websites. But this is a different issue; not for this posting.

I've cleared cache, restarted laptops/Xfinity modem, unplugged Xfinity modem for long periods of times, etc,...

I've looked at these forums and other sources online with no solution.

Looking to the brain power here to tell me what I'm missing.

Appreciate the collective experience, and frustration, from this group!

Good afternoon @user_1itrs7, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums regarding your issues with MS Teams. We're glad your speeds are strong and that you are not experiencing this issue on other apps. We appreciate you trying to clear cache and restart your laptops and modem. To confirm, do you experience connection issues while doing other in home activities like streaming or gaming when you're not on MS Teams? May I also ask if your Teams is up to date?

I have the same issue starting in the same time frame. It typically does it in the afternoon. But can occur at any time.

Me too!  I'm super frustrated.  It happens with every single Teams call now.  My customers are frustrated and so is my Management.

@worlwind96

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 2-month-old dead thread is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on someone else's older thread can delay getting help.
