connectivitycheck.gstatic.com keeps saying incorrect login but it keeps changing the first letter from a capital to a lower case this entering it incorrectly

hi. i recently unplugged my new xfinity gateway and reconnected it later (had new carpets installed).  now that it is powered up and connected to the internet, my windows laptops seem to connect to the wifi & internet ok...
BUT none of my android devices can get to the internet correctly.  when i connect to my xfinity home wifi, it keeps directing me to the connectivitycheck.gstatic.com page asking for a username & password.  it is not accepting my xfinity username & password NOR my home wifi username and password. my xfinity app will not even connect!
what is going on with this gateway???

Hello @unhappy-customer I am sorry to hear that you're having issues with getting all your devices connected to your home network. I have to ask, have you already tried restarting each device that you are having the issues with? Have you tried resetting the network settings for each device? 

I no longer work for Comcast.
