Connection issues with PS4 and PS5
Hi everyone. I’ve been having issues with the xFi Gateway for years past, never been able to find a fix. When I play games on my PS5 every couple of minutes, sometimes an hour or so I’ll get disconnected from the game. WiFi is still up and running on all other devices but never seems to come back on my PS5 unless I test the connection or restart the PS5. I know the issue is with the xFi Gateway because I switched modems for a couple months, but had to switch back because I moved to an apartment complex that has Xfinity free of charge. I’ve tried to re configure the DNS Settings on my PlayStation to see if that works but nothing. Anyone know of a fix for this? I have the latest xFi Gateway.

Hello @user_37437c, and thank you for posting your experience. Does this only happen when connected through WiFi?

I am having thesame issue, ps4 keeps disconnecting when playing online matches. Was on the call with Xfinity rep for 2hrs and no one could help figure things out. Very frustrating.
