Connection dropping on new 1gb speed?
Connection dropping on upgraded xfi modem i just got along with new tv boxes. I spend almost 2 hours on phone trying to resolve. I was told that it was there wasd nothing wrong and that it warrented no further assistance from a service tech to come out?
I cannot have this happen when school starts next week.
Please help..

For what it's worth, try turning off power saving on your network card, go to device manager > click on your network card, then advanced options, then just uncheck that option, I installed a new network card and had similar issues, i unchecked that option and it fixed it for me, I read on the Microsoft site that some routers and network cards don't know how to handle these requests between them, just a thought

I seem to be all set now. I was able to resolve by doing the following:
Updated 4 different drivers that were out of date
Removed Google Chrome and deleted profile
Rebooted laptop
Reinstalled Google Chrome and signed in.
It is working with no further drop of connection and pages are loading
Whew.
