Did you move where the cable connects to an outlet? If so, the outlet you moved it to is not active, If you have xfinity home service, you can have only one active drop in your home. If you want to move it, you can either have xfinity come and create another drop, which you will have to pay for, or find a third party that can install a network switch and run new cable and outlets where you need them. You will also pay for this, and depending on how your walls are constructed, can become a very expensive process.
