Connecting sengled bulbs

Hi!

I am trying to set up three sengled light bulbs that I just purchased. Everything I've read says they are compatible with Xfinity but I'm going in circles trying to get them set up.

They require a 2.4 ghz connection and the Sengled app does not recognize my gateway. It is not coming up in a list devices the app can connect to  because it's 5ghz

I tried using the Xfinity Home app only to be told by the app itself that "self protection" security now runs through the Xfinity app. The screen pops up every time I go to the Xfinity home app and I'm not allowed to access any other area. I am assuming this means since I do not subscribe to any Xfinity home protection service I cannot use the app.

I've gone into the Xfinity app and the bulbs are not appearing anywhere on my  "not connected" list.

I cannot do the proposed solutions of going in and naming the 2.4 frequency and the 5 frequency differently because I have xifi pods.

What Xfinity app can I use to set up these light bulbs? I clearly can't use the Sengled Home app itself because it will not talk to my router.
