Connected Device Amnesia

I've seen plenty of posts asking about devices not showing up in the list of connected devices.  I seem to be having the opposite problem. Several times a day I get notifications on my Galaxy S26 from the Xfinity app that a new device connected to my network.  These are almost always devices that have previously connected, including some that are perpetually connected to my home network, like my security cameras that never leave the house. I see my own phone showing up as a notification a few times per week. Is there a setting I'm missing to improve the gateway and/or app's memory of devices that have previously been connected? Barring that, is there a way to flag some individual devices currently connected to prevent future notifications when they connect?
