connect my bOb PetHair SLAM to 2.4 Ghz

I need to be able to connect my bOb PetHair SLAM (https://www.bobsweep.com/product-page/bob-pethair-slam) to a 2.4ghz wifi connection (only).  I researched and found that through the app you can edit your modem settings and have a 2.4ghz and a 5ghz BUT due to the type of modem I have this is not allowed. So, then I went to http://10.0.0.1/wireless_network_configuration.jst .  I see that it shows a 2.4ghz and a 5ghz but no way to edit it there either.  With my old modem I was able to have seperate wifi sign in's for each.  How can I set up or have Xfinity set up for me a separate 2.4 wifi connection for this appliance?

Hello @mrkramer

Howdy! I hope your day is going great. Do you see an option in the interface to disable the 5Ghz? I was also curious what the make/model for your modem would be? We can investigate specifics here on our end as well. Thank you for taking the time to get us in the loop to help.

@XfinityThomasB In http://10.0.0.1/ it shows a 2.4ghz and a 5ghz but are greyed out and nothing can be changed. In the app I only see the name of our Wifi, pwd, and Security mode(WPA2).  Make and model is Technicolor, Revision 2.0, Model CGM4331COM

Thanks so much for verifying the model of your device, which is an XB7 Advanced Wireless Gateway. These devices do contain software that automatically finds the best Wi-Fi channel for your devices to operate on. This allows for a more seamless and smooth internet experience. This unfortunately does have the side effect of disabling manual Wi-Fi assignment. Our article here does go over this in detail.
